What We Learned (and Loved) at the Mom 2.0 Conference

This past weekend, we had the joy of attending the Mom 2.0 Conference, and to say we were inspired would be an understatement. As co-founders of Recovery Beans, this wasn’t just a business trip—it was a family adventure, a learning experience, and a heart-filled reminder of why we do what we do.

We showed up as partners in business, in parenting, and in life. One of us is a mom in long-term recovery, and both of us are passionate about mental health, community, and creating something meaningful through our work. Recovery Beans is more than coffee for us—it’s a mission. A way to brew hope and connection, one cup at a time.

From powerhouse keynotes to intimate breakout sessions, the conference was packed with knowledge, wisdom, and real-talk about what it means to build, create, and show up—especially as parents, creatives, and entrepreneurs. We soaked up insights on storytelling, social media, brand-building, and how to use our voices to spark change. We left with notebooks full of ideas, heads full of inspiration, and hearts full of gratitude.

And let’s talk about the real MVP of the weekend: our baby girl. She may not have had a ticket, but she definitely had a presence. Everywhere we went, she brought smiles, giggles, and sweet moments of connection with other attendees. We even heard more than once, “She’s the best networker here!” Honestly, no lies detected.

There was something beautiful about showing up to a conference like this as a family—as a unit. It reminded us that business and parenthood don’t have to live in separate lanes. They can co-exist, fuel each other, and even make each other stronger.

We left the Mom 2.0 Conference feeling energized and encouraged—ready to keep growing Recovery Beans, keep sharing our story, and keep brewing coffee with a cause. We’re more excited than ever to pour what we’ve learned back into our community, and we’re grateful for everyone we met along the way.

To all the fellow parents, creators, and changemakers we connected with—thank you. We see you, we’re cheering for you, and we’re honored to be in this space with you.

Until next time, ☕ Alex, Alison & Baby Bean
